St Elmo Steak HouseSt. Elmo Steak House has been a landmark in downtown Indianapolis since 1902. It is the oldest Indianapolis steakhouse in its original location, and has earned a national reputation for its excellent steaks, seafood, chops and professional service. In 1986 the current owner, veteran restauranteur Stephen Huse took the reins. In 1997, Steve partnered with his son, Craig, who is the current operator. Today's St. Elmo Steak House honors its past by maintaining its traditional atmosphere, professional service and outstanding refined menu. Our goal is to create unforgettable memories for you — our guest.

Harry & Izzy'sChildhood friends Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen formed a 50/50 partnership as owners of St. Elmo steak house in 1956. Harry always wore brightly colored and patterned bow ties, was kindly, warm and charming, Harry is the perfect antithesis of his friend and business partner, Izzy. A man of few words, behind Izzy's large personality and even larger cigars, was a man's man. Harry and Izzy were the quintessential "Odd Couple." After a lifetime of friendship and building St. Elmo Steak House into a hugely successful business, we now celebrate the personalities of both Harry and Izzy in a more casual and updated environment.
